© Pendaki Putrajaya This trip was a recce trip to Karimun Island. I Left Putrajaya, Malaysia the night before taking a express bus to Pontian, From Pontian, Johor I have to take another local bus to the ferry terminal in Kukup. I was lucky being able to catch the 8 am ferry to Tg Balai. Arriving in Tg Balai at 9am(WIB) ie Indonesia local time I was greeted by a local fellow hiker named Jarot. I was then taken to the local outdoor association club house where I meet the local hiking community. We started our climb at 3 pm and it took me 2 and the half hours to reach the peak. we descend at around 7 pm reaching our starting point one hour and the half hours later.
