Point Lenana (09.08.2012)

Lenana is the third highest peak of Mt Kenya. Hiking point Lenana is done normally, that means no need of technical climb experience.While standing at point Lenana, one is able to see the two major features of East Africa, that is, the top of Kilimanjaro and the Indian ocean. Lenana is peak next to Nelion and Batian. To reach point from the nearby town, it takes 5 days or more depending on the energy within the hiker. Normally climate is not a factor in the days to be taken during the hike.
