From near Finnjorda by Storvatnet to Lyshorntinden, retreated from connecting ridge to Storvatnet and rejoined main path to Sjursviktinden. Sjursviktinden is reached by a broad, popular path. The side peak of Lyshorntinden (omitted from PB), is not frequented. The route took me across the outflow from a large lake (Storvatnet). Had a brief detour to Nordtuva (another missing PBE) from which I could see there was one possible weakness in a line of cliffs defending Lyshorntinden. This gave the route to the summit of Lyshorntinden. Unfortunately, the ridge North to Sjursviktindan proved too narrow and difficult for me to attempt to traverse it on my own and without a rope. So I retraced my steps, found the way down through the crags, and walked round Storvatnet to join the main path to Sjursviktinden. >>>
A popular peak, for good reason

Excellent walk on Husfjellet, perhaps our favourite mountain climb. The path started well and was mostly very good. The ease of access and ease of climb makes this mountain understandably popular. A woodland track then path led up steeply to open views across the fjord. With Husfjellet showing ahead, we descended to a wet depression with an almost impossible path, the worst yet. This could be avoided on the lower slopes of Litje Brusen, to the right. We were overtaken by a young woman who was impressively fit but rather annoying as she was on her mobile phone jabbering away in Norsk for ages. We let her get to the summit first so she could take her selfies. Meantime, we visited the side peak, which is a narrow pinnacle. From Skaland by popular waymarked route. Visited neighbouring Litje Brusen on path, scrambling to summit.

From Fellsenden Tunnel, by S ridge, avoiding one section of scrambling but returning to ridge for summit. Descent to adjacent corrie, col and lake.
