Tennebekksnipa and Eikelifjellet

© Harald Barsnes Started by taking the bus to Lyngbø and walking to Tennebekktjørna. I struggled a bit to find a route to the summit of Tennebekksnipa . Getting back down turned out to be even more difficult though as I decided to take a "shortcut"... Back on the gravel road around Tennebekktjørna I continued to Eikelifjellet before heading towards Lyngbønipa and back down to Lynbgø. (I later realized I had not actually visited the summit of Lyngbønipa though...)

Lyderhorn from Sildaberget

© Harald Barsnes Started by taking the bus to Bjørndalsbakken and from there walking up to Sildaberget. After locating the start of the trail (just follow the upper road at Sildaberget and look for the hiking signs), I followed the stairs (and later trail) to Skarpafjellet, and then continued onwards to Lyderhorn. From the top of Lyderhorn I found a trail passing over Skjenafjellet and Ørnafjellet before taking me to Gravdal, where I took the bus back to the city center. Nordgardsfjellet, Tellevikafjellet and Høgstefjellet

© Harald Barsnes We started by taking the bus to Støbotn and walking to Baugtveit. From there we followed the trail over Nordgardsfjellet , Tellevikafjellet and Høgstefjell . Descending from Høgstefjell we passed by Vardfjellet before trying to find a good way down to Dalavegen. This turned out to be more difficult than expected as the trail suddenly disappeared and we were left trying to find a route that avoided going through somebody's backyard...

Toppenipa and Toppefjellet

© Harald Barsnes Started by taking the bus to Støbotn and from there following the standard trail to Toppenipa and Toppefjellet . From the summit of Toppefjellet I tried to continue south towards Ulset, but the trail quickly got weaker and hard to follow. That the trail was often splitting into multiple even smaller trails did not help either. Ended up having to walk along Salhusveien to get back to Åsane terminal. Hence the latter part of this hike cannot be recommended.

Landåsfjellet and Orrehaugene

© Harald Barsnes Started from Haukeland Sykehus and from there walked up towards Ulriken , but instead of going all the way to the summit we rather turned south towards Gløvrevatnet. On the way back from Søre Gløvrevatnet we visited the summits of Austefjellet , Landåsfjellet and Orrehaugene , in addition to Baunehytten .

Geitanuken from Saudalen

Nordgardsfjellet, Tellevikafjellet and Høgstefjellet

© Harald Barsnes I started by taking the bus to Støbotn and from there walking to Baugtveit, before following the trail to Nordgardsfjellet and then onwards to Tellevikafjellet and Høgstefjell . From Høgstefjell I followed a shortcut towards Baugtveit before ending up back at the bus stop.
