© Innika De Rosa Summer finally came to Tromsø! We enjoyed the first day with 20 degrees this year with a terrific hike along Vengsøytraversen. We started our hike walking along the asphalt and headed up a faint path up Vengsøytinden. We were both a bit slow to get started over the heavier terrain and on again/off again trail. Soon we were on the ridge and the scrambling started. What a traverse! Wonderful, fun scrambling over some very exposed sections. The rock was quite wet on a few sections. Time flew by with amazing warm weather and sunshine. Soon we were on the lovely path on the way down stortinden and waiting to take the ferry home (with two pairs of sunburnt shoulders!)
