The Torfinnstind traverse (West to East)

Myself and two friends (E & V) took the boat from Eidsbugarden to Torfinnsbu the day before our trip. We woke up early and headed westwards for approximate 2 km, and then we went nordiwards. Approximately 400 m before the summit of Vestre Torfinnstinden we accidentally triggered a small rockslide (be aware of loose rocks). We then headed down from the first summit into a gully and climbed 2-3 rope lengths to reach Midtre Torfinnsitnden . We did the first rope length taking the southern most variant, finding it difficult to figure out if we were on-route or not. After reaching the summit, we down climbed a section of loose small rocks which felt a bit sketchy in high shaft mountain boots. The climb up to Øystre Torfinnstinden was quite easy. Trip to Uranostinden from Koldedalsvatnet

Me and S hiked up northwards from Koldedals vatnet, and followed the edge of the Uranostinden. We felt the steepest part on Uranostinden was worth climbing with a rope due to its loose rocks, although there were sections with few good placements for protection. The climb went well, although we had to find our way a bit more to the east to pass some other climbers that were trigging some rockfalls without leting us know rocks were coming down. We went down towards the west in the gully between Uranostinden and Slingsbytinden, and followed the Uradalsvatnet back to camp on its west side.
