Barsnesfjorden

Short walk along Barsnesfjorden after a morning visit from a plumber to replace a pipe at the cabin that had burst during the cold winter.

(Note that the road this hike follows is private, i.e. no cars allowed. There are however a couple of parking spaces down by the small wharf along Barsnesfjorden just before the road turns west and starts climbing slightly towards the crossroads at Barsnes.)

    ... the damage (due to the burst pipe) was not too severe -- it's not impossible that an unobserved burst pipe could lead to major secondary problems...

      Thankfully there is no water going into the cabin during the winter and the pipes are (supposed to be) empty. In other words, the damage was very limited and the problem fully resolved by replacing the burst pipe. So the main issue was one day without running water. But at least we then appreciated it more when we got it back... ;)
