© Innika De Rosa After trying the Vest Veggen Via Ferrata in Åndalsnes earlier this year, we were excited to give the Via Ferrata in the Sacred Valley a go while we were acclimatizing at altitude before our Salkantay treck to Machu Pichu. Quite an easy Via Ferrata. Would have been nice to do this alone, the pace went really slowly as we were in a large group and this was quite frustrating. The Zip Lining on the way down was really fun. Definitely not a bad way to spend the day as a day trip from Cusco, but the via ferrata in itself could have been more challenging.
