Trip Summary

I started day 2 of this multi-day bike trip near Ybbs at the Donau, heading further "upstream" along the Donau. Already early on this day, I came through the nice Strudengau, before coming "back" into a somewhat more open countryside near Wallsee. After some 60km of cycling, I arrived in Mauthausen at about 11:30 taking some extra time at this history-laden(!) place. Back on my bike, I left the Donau not far from Mauthausen and continued along the Traun in southwestern direction. Quite a bit later in the afternoon, I then arrived in Wels for another break. Even later, after also about 150km of cycling on this day, I stopped in Schwanenstadt for the night.
