RangerNic
I use this handle because I worked as a Ranger in Scotland over a 40 year period, finishing with 20 years in the Cairngorm Mountains. Since retiring, I have had time to make trips with my wife Judith to Norway, helped by the fact our children have all emigrated to interesting places (Netherlands, Denmark, Trondelag) we can visit on the way north. The Arctic is our favourite, and though we love (and visit) Lofoten, Senja draws us back every year. We don't know why Senja is unknown in Scotland. We have also enjoyed mountain climbs in Dovrefjell, Romsdal and Finnmark. I have always been climbing hills, having nearly compleated the Munros and founded the Scottish Midweek Mountaineering Club.
