Denne dagen ble vi kjørt fra Arenas opp i fjelle og gikk opp til toppen av Pico de Samelar på 2234 moh. Flott terreng med masse gruvedrift fra gamle dager. På retur gikk vi til Sotres med nye overnatting i tre netter.

Tanken var å gå opp til toppen, men vi startet for seint og skulle være tilbake til DNT tilstelning kl 17. når vi nådde 1304 m og var 3 km og 500 hm igjen fant vi det klokest å snu. Var tilbake 16:45 et kvarter før tilstelning. Ble en fin tur.
